Postponed exam?

Important information for students affected by winter storm closure

Student Life

By Memorial University

All exams scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 13, have been postponed until Thursday, Dec. 15, and Friday, Dec. 16.

A winter storm on Tuesday,  Dec. 13, caused campus-wide closures on the St. John’s campus and at the Marine Institute.

Students will find an updated, personalized exam schedule (date, time and location) in Self-Service. The entire schedule can also be found online in this searchable database.

Please note that exams regularly scheduled for Dec. 15 and 16 may have an alternate location to accommodate the rescheduled exams. Updated location information for all undergraduate exams will be available at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, via Self-Service.

Students should contact the department head of the rescheduled exam, not the original exam, to discuss possible solutions or to request deferral of the rescheduled exam. At the Marine Institute, please contact the Marine Institute registrar.

If your exam was scheduled by the Blundon Centre, please contact blundon@mun.ca.

As a reminder, all students, regardless of when your exam is scheduled, should confirm the room location of exams via Self-Service at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec.14.

For more about postponed exams, please see this FAQ.
